I work in the Sorrento Valley area and we have used Buca Di Beppo as our go-to place when there's a celebration, like a birthday or when someone leaves the company for greener pastures. The first time my boyfriend and I went there, we were asked if it was our first time; since it was they gave us a mini tour through the restaurant and the kitchen. And there is no bad seat in the whole place, everywhere you see really interesting photographs and sculptures.

You can order a big portion of pasta and share it with like a family would at the dinner table. Or you can order individual plates. The food is very good and the prices are very reasonable considered the quality and amount.

I went to Buca Di Beppo for the first time last week and totally loved it! My first impression was great right as we walked in.

Since it was our first visit, the hostess took us to a little tour of the restaurant including the kitchen area which I thought was pretty cool. Most restaurant owners would freak out if anyone tried to see what their kitchen looked like.

The second awesome thing that happened in our visit was the fact that as we arrived at the table that we were getting seated, there was a high chair waiting for my daughter! I sometimes have to ask twice for a high chair while holding her and I thought it was awesome that it was waiting for us.

We enjoyed the cantina style ambiance and I particularly loved how they have soccer banners all over the place! I saw Napoli, Lazio and Internazionale's! How cool is that?

I thought the food was pretty good. I had their Shrimp Fra Diavola, which is basically penne with a vodka, pink cream sauce with shrimp. We were served bread and ordered some gigantic canolis. The prices are really good for what you get and I will go back for sure.

We just had a party of 18 people at the Pope table. The pasta portions are great.
