I may be a glutton for punishment, but I intend to visit Buca here in Irvine one more time before I pass judgment. Buca in Brea is consistent and impressive, both in service and quality of food. My response to the Tustin Buca, however, was tepid at best. The service was slow (about thirty-five minutes to receive our food) and inattentive (no refills on drinks or bread). The food, unfortunately, did not compensate for the poor service (our meals were luke warm and I question the freshness of the salmon). I am not one to make hasty judgments, so I will return to this Buca (yes, I like pain), but if the meal is no better than the one I first encountered, I will find little reason to spend seventy or eighty dollars here again.

There management has a lot to be desired and there food was cold, could not get a refill on our drinks the food was not good no meat in souce small portions for the 22.00 per person.

We book a large party on March 1st for there gold room then we recived a call on the day befor the party at 1:pm he told us that the room would cost us $2200.00 that was never discussed with us back on the 1st. I know they do this to more than one party so that they can run up there price for the room. This is a very F*u*k*d way to run a buiseness.

I was very impressed when I walked in and the resturant had a table for the children to play. Then after having great service, when they sang happy birthday to my son they brought out bubbles. It was an has been great memories. We've been back several times since and have nerver been disappointed
