Great Teaching Method
I'm here to praise Jim Bruno for his teaching method of singing. A previous comment gave him poor ratings, however that is usually the type of person who sings like a frog and expects to become Sinatra after a few lessons. You cannot expect miricles, but I've personally seen Jim take a "non singer", and turn them into a fair singer. I myself have a god given talent, but just went to Jim to increase on those gifts. I've known him for close to 20 years, and I believe in his methods. The student has to remember that they must practice, practice and then practice more to achieve results. But no teacher can wave a magic wand. You have to go into it with realistic expectations. Jim is a very nice teacher, with a quick dry wit and humor. If you can't take a bit of healthy teasing, then he's not the guy for you. My advice is to pull the stick out of your brown eye, and have a little fun. Lighten up, it's only music.
