Grossly Unprofessional
Unfortunately, a bad experience that started out so well. I met with a couple of sales guys to talk about a used CX-9. I am forbidden from dealing in interest based financing for religious reasons. It was a long-shot, but I thought I'd ask if they would consider 0% financing on a used car. There was a little back and forth, but at the end of the day they admitted that it would be impossible to write a 0% contract. Which was fine. They were pleasant and we shook hands. I told them that although no deal was made, I had a very nice experience. Then things got weird. I get a call from the salesman the next day, "My sales manager would like to meet with you." I had a pretty busy day ahead of me, but I thought, hmm, maybe the higher-ups had a change of heart? So I swing by on my way home from work to meet Azzy, the sales manager.
