Worst emergency room; terrible customer...‎
I took my son to the ER of Brotman Medical Center a few weeks ago. The person in the admitting office was beyond rude, and didn't acknowledge me for quite some time. She didn't ask me about my insurance, nor if I had any questions. Once the nurse called us in, the nurse performed some tests on my son, though she didn't bother telling me what they were or why they were needed. Then she acted inconvenienced when I did ask her. But all this could have been excused if the doctor had provided any type of care for my son. THE DOCTOR WAS THE WORST OF THEM ALL!!! She didn't introduce herself and he had a teenager with her, who she also didn't introduce. She checked my son briefly, then mumbled that he needed an enema. We waited 1/2 hour in silence before a nurse came to tell me she had looked and the hospital was out of stock, so I'd have to buy one from a pharmacy instead. I had questions for the doctor but never got a chance to ask them, as the doctor never came back! ...

DO NOT GO TO THIS EMERGENCY ROOM!!!!‎
My boyfriend drove me to this hospital late last night due to an allergic reaction to a prescription that my doctor had given me. From the minute I first get there up until I was leaving was the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. People there really do act like they don't give a u know what. I was shaking when they finally called me in and the nurse couldn't be more rude. She was taking here sweet time asking routine questions completely ignoring the fact that I was totally shaking. She proceeds to take me in one of the rooms and the bed wasn't made so she wipes it down and puts a blanket over it that took like 15 minutes, doesn't say a word and leaves the room. I do a urine test and an ekg which didn't even work; for some reason the machine wasn't picking up info and there was no resolution but they just tried to pass it off like everything was fine. I didn't get to see a doctor in the end to go over my chart. The girl that did my ekg and blood pressure wrote my stats ...

The emergency room was full of drunks (patients -- not staff)
The emergency room was full of drunks (patients -- not staff) and the smell of vomit was disgusting. They really seem to be squeezing every dollar they can out of this place. The bill I got was crazy and I couldn't get anyone to explain it. This place was our family hospital for years, but it has really been run down and I wouldn't take my dog there.

Never Go for Emergency Care!!‎
I waited for 3 hours with severe chest pain. Aloof staff, uncaring attending - and I never even saw an actual real doctor. The end of it all it was basically 'take two aspirins and call me in the morning'. A COLOSSAL waste of time. If you have any other options, use them.‎

BROTMAN ER ‎
I HAD AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE LAST NIGHT AT THE ER FOR A DISLOCATED FINGER. ALL OF THE STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND ATTENTIVE. THEY SERVED ME 3 MINUTES AFTER I FILLED OUT THE PAPER WORK. THEY WERE ALL OPEN TO JOKING AROUND ( I LIKE TO MAKE THE MOST OF A DIFFICULT SITUATION). AND I WAS CAREFULLY EXPLAINED ABOUT THE PRESCRIBED DRUGS AND SIDE EFFECTS. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.‎
