I came here the other weekend and had an amazing breakfast/brunch. They've got a great old house as their restaurant which has a picturesque view of La Jolla Cove. The whole setup reminds me of new england. I would imagine the sunsets are out of control here. The food was very good, they've got a number of cool signature dishes. Our waiter was attentive and helpful, although they were busy, he wasn't overly pushy. I would love to come here again but I hear it gets very busy and the wait is often over an hour long. Although I think they take reservations...

This is the only place you should be having breakfast. The food is outsatnding and the view is the best in all of San Diego. The Coast Toast is the best french toast I've ever had, smooth and creamy inside with a "hint of orange" A must for those out of town visitors you need to impress!

I first went here for prom, it is breathtaking, great ocean views, nice fresh air, very calming. It is a bit pricey but its worth it. My friends and I enjoyed it here. The food was amazing and delicious. We felt very pleased with the service. I ordered lasagna and caesar salad it was super delicious. There was so much delicious options. The salad was fresh and tasted so amazing. The lasagna was tasty it had the right amount of flavoring and the layers of meat and cheese were perfected blended together, it tasted great, I loved it. If your in the La Jolla Area, stop on by because it is scenic dining at its best!!!So Indulge!!!Its Magnificent!!!

If you have guests visiting San Diego this is the place to take them. Brockton Villa is in a historic beach cottage, dating back to the late 19th century, and overlooks beautiful La Jolla cove. You can dine outside on the patio or inside and still enjoy the view. They are well known for breakfast and brunch, the signature coast toast is a rich french toast that tastes more like a soufflé. It is made with baguette style bread, and has a hint of orange flavor. They have many egg dishes, Three Steam-Scrambled Eggs (NO Butter or Oil used) and omelettes. For lunch they offer a nice selection of signature salads. The seared Ahi Salad is especially delicious. My husband loves the grilled fish tacos. The dinner selections include fresh & local specials each day. I was also pleased to learn they have Happy Hour. I can't imagine a better place to do sunset.
