Coming from the great PNW I am accustomed to wonderful brewery experiences. I was not disappointed by Brew It Up. The atmosphere was enjoyable as family dining in the restaurant or casual conversation in the bar. The brews are all great and they make unique and creative cocktails with their beers. The food is decent for a brewery and the selection is great. When I have out of town guest who want to a brewery experience I always bring them to this brewery for either lunch or dinner.

After traveling all over the west coast and europe checking out brew pubs this one rates pretty high on my list. Definately the best Sacramento has to offer. Most brew pubs tend to have more of a relaxed burger type menu, not the case here. Excellent variety in dishes, the fish is some of the best I have had in a long time. Great service every time I have been there. The stout is delicious! Upper scale dining in a brewery can't beat it.

Great happy hour! For only $2.50 you can get a glass of hard cider, and the appetizers are pretty cheap, too. Get reservations if you want a table, because it gets crowded quick.

Don't expect regular fried beer pup food here. Though they have it on the menu, the is plenty of other good foor to try. You can try your hand at brewing your on, but I've yet to do it.

I had the pleasure of eating there last night with some friends. The food is average and is priced a little above normal. The main atteaction is the beer. I did however notice they don't offer pitchers which is somewhat of a letdown. There are so many kinds of beer that it's hard to choose. If your looking for a place to gather at this will do nicely.

CONS: no pitchers
