The perfect store by Phyllis G. at InsiderPages
I have been shopping for little stuff in Brass and Glass for many years. Recently I decided to buy a new mattress. I shopped the discount places but found their mattresses to be unsatisfactory. One day I saw a SALE sign at Brass and Glass, so I went right in, using their free parking lot - hard to find on College Avenue. I went back to the store three or four times in the process, and met two young guys and the owner, Bert. They were all great, respectful and obliging. I got a great mattress at half-price, and will be going back soon for some other stuff. I read some other reviews on this site and am quite amazed at their vitriol. I think my experience there is the usual one. I highly recommend this store, its products, and its staff.

BEWARE: STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE by Mark H. at InsiderPages
I bought a bed at Brass & Glass ten years ago. It was a terrible experience. Sure, they have a great selection, they delivered on time, set it up OK, etc., etc. But as soon as you have any kind of problem, all that nice stuff goes out the window. It got to the point where I complained to the state Attorney General's office. Shortly after that, I got a mysterious, anonymous phone call at home by someone who physically threatened me!

Now, ten years later, a friend of mine is having the same experience. Deceptive, unethical practices, abusive language and behavior. Threats.

Do yourself a favor, stay away from this place.

Very Insulting to me via phone
I called Brass & Glass as a job duty for work for some information. The first time a man hung up the phone on me. I called 2x I figured there was someone else that could help. The same person answered and called me ignorant and hung up. I called a 3rd time to tell give them a piece of thought and said dont' call me ignorant. The same person told me I was a stupid little b**tch. I can't imagine ever going anywhere and someone saying those things to me. We all have our days but to display such behavior on the phone just showed me a little bit of what the person who runs the show IS. I had never thought of buying anything there because I had never heard of the company but you never know I could have. But Now will I wont EVER recommend anybody in case the name happened to come up. Things like this leave an impression. I used to work for customer service and even on the real bad bad customers I never cursed on them.

Great pricing and exceptional customer service
The Owner offered me the best price around on a new Tempur Deluxe mattress that included free Tempur pillows, delivery, set-up and removal. My mattress was in stock and ready for immediate delivery. For a nominal fee, he even agreed to pick up my mattress at my old apartment since the Tempur was going to my new home. I'd certainly return again and recommend anyone shopping for a mattress to see them first. Support local business owners!

Received a thank you card in the mail a few weeks afterwards with a discount coupon for a future purchase.
