Dont go here!!
The people here are very rude. They barely look or talk to you or your dog. They hurt my dog while trying to draw blood as it appeared they did not know what they were doing while trying to restrain him. Then they let my dog fall off the table onto the hard floor. They did not apologize either. They just smiled and walked out.The people appear and act as though they are in high school and probably are not certified. The only time I saw the vet was when he came in at the end after the assitants hurt my dog.I guess thats what you get for $70.I tried contacting Banfield about this store and received no reply. I will not be returning to any Banfield. Please dont bring your best friend to this place.

worst vetcare
I worked in the same building with this one and was appalled by the things I saw taking place. Banfield may look attractive because of the cheap prices but it is true what was said in the other review about them being pushy salespeople and the old adage ?you get what you pay for? is also definitely true here. The fact that they try to talk you into ?packages? you do not need and are more expensive than most regular vet care is beside the point when it comes to the inadequacy of the care received. Over the three years I worked at PetSmart I witnessed the mostly inexperienced and unsupervised veterinarians and vet techs make mistake after mistake resulting in prolonged pain, suffering, and even death of dogs and puppies. My own dog was misdiagnosed and lived in pain for a year before I took her to Central and had a cracked tooth extracted. The vet at Bainfield barely looked at her bite which was the result of a dog attack and completely missed the fact it had gone through her tooth. He just said there was nothing to be done about it and it would heal on it?s own. I was on the most expensive 'plan' by the way and the bite was directly under that tooth. She also had a lump which needed a needle aspiration for a biopsy. I was told literally by the vet that no one there was capable enough to do a needle aspiration diagnosis. It took the vet at Central 15min. to do it and it turned out she did have to have the mass removed. Thank god it hadn?t metastasized. There is also an extremely high turnover in vets so you don?t usually have one vet who knows your pet. I was ?encouraged? by PetSmart to recomend Banfield but after only a few months I could not in good conscience. I have nothing against Banfield?s employees. I think they do the best they can with what they have. I blame Banfield itself for pretending to be a low cost but caring veterinary corporation when all they really care about is the bottom line. WalMart doesn?t treat animals and neither should Banfield.

Banfield great for shots, bad for anything else
The other problem I have with Banfield is that they have high-pressure salespeople instead of caring veterinarians. Every time I go for a simple visit, vaccine, or simple check-up, I am constantly being pressured to purchase a battery of test. They always seem to find some procedure that needs to be done that will cost hundreds of $$$. They do not do a good job of explaining their fees, or the reason the procedure is needed and if you decline the services, they make you feel really guilty about not taking good care of your pet.

I feel like I'm with a crooked used car salesman when dealing with their vet techs. I initially took my pet to Banfield because of its proximity to my job, but i will now gladly take my pet to a true Vets office instead of darkening the door of Banfield.
