Great Storytime

One of the best things about Borders Books and Music is that they have story time twice a week for the kids. One, I think on Tuesdays is for the younger kids, and is called Borders Babies. They read age appropriate stories, with breaks in between for music and dancing. It's a great, free, place to take your kids. Friday's stories are for the older kids and the songs are more geared toward learning things like the continents.

I have had some problems with the customer service, not in the store but through corporate. All of the employees in the store have always been very helpful.

Huge Selection of Books - Free Rewards Membership

Borders offers a large selection of fiction books and even larger collection of specialty books. The store is carved into thematic areas that are easy to navigate. The store is huge and there is enough room that the books do not get displaced by seasonal merchandise. It is also big enough for cool rotating displays of staff picks, popular themes, and classics. Borders carries a fun selection of gift merchandise from Paperchase, an awesome, quirky company from England. Unlike its main competitor, the Borders Rewards membership is free and you get weekly email coupons and cash back benefits. The cafe is good for coffee and other drinks but they do not offer any type of lunch selections.

Love this place by april f. at InsiderPages

HUge and with a great selection of books, music and video. The cafe is new and beautiful, coffee and food great! The kids center is huge and fun for my son. They also have reading time on tuesday mornings for the little ones. This is one of my favorite places to just relax!
