We visit this store often, they have a large selection and there is a nice sitting area to sit and have tea or coffee.

i love this place so so dear to my heart. i purchase one book a month. It's my budget :( I wish i could buy more. I encourage everyone to come and support local bookstore. Take your kids, your friends, and family here sometime, you all will have a nice time.

Borders is great, But... by D. R. at InsiderPages
The selection is excellent (movies, music, and books, etc.), the location on Lake St. in Pasadena is great if you live in the area, however (and oddly enough) the men's room at this location is reminiscent of a big city public restroom. It's covered in graffitti and can't be serviced more than once every day or two. Pretty unimpressive for a classy bookstore in a classy city.

Great Bookstore on Lake by K M. at InsiderPages
Located on the South end of Lake, Borders is a great bookstore if you're in the mood for browsing, sitting down with a cup of coffee, or listening to music upstairs.

The staff is friendly and helpful and the children's section has enough room for the little ones to run around.

The coffee shop has recently been changed and offers a great selection of coffee and teas.

My Favorite Bookstore by Tracy T. at InsiderPages
This is my favorite bookstore and my favorite location; the selection is huge, there are lots of things to do, there are several stories you can get lost in that are very roomy and well sectioned away from other things, (magazines are off to one place, cashier at another, coffee in yet another, a second cashier upstairs, nooks for comics, music, romance, thrillers.) Even the parking options give you a nice selection - you can park either in the downstairs garage and come in through the main entrance, or you can go around and go up the ramp from the street behind, and enter through the second floor entrance.
