Yes you've seen one Borders, you've seen them all. The Borders in California are no different than the ones in New Jersey. But, that's a good thing. What I like about Borders is that I am able to find unusual items such as novels in the original French. At the same time, I love looking through the section they refer to as Literature (chuckle) and being turned on to authors with whom I am not familiar. It seems Borders does not shrink from carrying new artists. I believe they open our horizons by doing this. Unlike Barnes & Nobles they do have enough seating and their cafe is mostly populated by adults.

Was looking for a book and called in advance to see if they had it. I didnt know the exact title for the book only the subject. I asked them to check and the guy put me on hold to check. He kept checking back with me and letting me know what was going on. He found a book within the subject that I was looking for. I was really impressed with the service he provided. When I went into the store to purchase the book they had it ready from me at the counter.
