My vacuum was in such bad shape that I thought it was worthless. The experts at Bob's fixed it at a reasonable price. Everything was less than $40. I felt they were honest because they could have told me that it couldn't be fixed. I had no idea that they had such a selection of vacuums and products to clean up around the house.

Once I had bought a carpet cleaner from a yard sale that needed minor repair and What seemed like minor repair cost as much as the thing was worth. they are a good place for vacum supplies like bags, vacum belts and so on but I think that either they are really expensive or that's just the going rate for repairs these days. don't get me wrong I know nothin about what the price should be I just know that it is expensive for vacum repair in santa barbara county!

PROS: they fix vacums& have supplies for various models
CONS: expensive

Bob's Vacuum - Excellent care! by Gael K. at InsiderPages

I went to Bob's Vacuum when I accidentally sucked a throw rug up into my vacuum cleaner and jammed the motor. I couldn't get some of the small pieces out and Bob's Vacuum fixed it immediately for me! They also checked it all over and cleaned it -- I had it back in no time.

I also took my sewing machine there (they can do sewing machine repair too) and they did a terrific job tuning upmy old sewing machine. It runs great again.

Located in the Calle Real Shopping Center; easy to find.
Store has vacuum cleaner bags and other accessories for sale too.

PROS: They know their stuff!
CONS: a tad on the expensive side
