While the guys were friendly and polite like everyone says, I waited a good 3 or 4 hours while the first plumber got a second AND third opinion about replacing a leaky pipe. I think he did a competent job in the end, but he left a big hole in my wall that he said he would send someone out to patch the following day (not included in the price, of course). When I didn't hear from him the next day, I called him, he said he would call the patcher again and call me "right back." He never did. I know patching the wall wasn't the plumber's responsibility (although frankly, I think it should be; otherwise the job isn't really finished), but promising more than one can or intends to deliver isn't the best business practice in my book. It's extremely difficult to find a trustworthy plumber, though, and just for the sake of trying to build a relationship with one I would probably call Bob's again, but after all these exceedingly glowing reviews I guess I just expected a higher level or service.

I have used Bobs Rooter & Plumbing in the past and I have recently moved down to Long Beach. It was to my surprise that they would make the trip down. I wanted to add a washer and dryer and did not have the plumbing to be able to do so. I live in a condo complex with units both bellow and above. I wasn?t even sure it could be done. I knew it would be challenging and was afraid of having just anyone do the job. I knew from using Bobs Plumbing in the past that they are very professional and would over charge. They definitely exceeded my expectations. A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I'd spent a lot of money purchasing a home. I then spent 16 months remodeling the house. Finally my wife and I moved in. All new electric, plumbing, woodwork, roof, and interior decorating. The house is beautiful. Then it happened. Sewage started backing up in our shower. A major rotor rooter company was called. $6,000 later they had changed piping up near the house, rootered it out and showed me with a video camera everything was great. The following week the same thing happend. This time I called another major rooter company. They told me that I had broken pipes going down the hill and that I should insert a sleeve into the pipe. Honestly, I didn't trust them. I immediately went to City Search and based on these stellar reviews I called Bob. Guess what? He answered personally. Said he'd be here at 8 am. At 7:45 he called me saying he was tied up in traffic and he'd be 10 minutes late. 10 minutes later he was there with his sons. After a couple of hours he showed me in fine detail how bad the pipes were, how deep they went, and how far to the actual sewer they ran. They showed us in detail the breaking of the clay pipe and the blockage.

They told us we needed new pipe and they use a state of the art trenchless piping system. We gave them the go ahead to replace the pipes. They showed up every day on time. Bob and his sons always had smiles on their faces, yet weren't afraid to get dirty and dig the 5 foot ditches themselves.

I'd trust these guys with my life. They're honorable.

I knew that before they pulled out the 7 foot roots that were filling our pipes. They showed us the broken pipes.

They finished exactly when they said they would. Even after i gave them the check they stayed around hours later to clean up and sweep the street totally clean.

Hopefully you don't need 240 feet of new pipe like I did.

But Bob is the guy to call. I promise.

I will never use another plumber, period. These guys are HONEST, FAST, INNOVATIVE, inexpensive, hard-working, and they do an AWESOME job. I had two complicated jobs done in an older building and they devised ways to save me a huge amount of money but still managed to use top quality parts. There workmanship is outstanding. What can I say, THIS IS THE BEST PLUMBER EVER and I'm serious.

I called and like most people got through to Bob himself. This guy is old school and honest. He called to say he was on his way with an exact time, not some 5 hour wait period. They looked at what our old plumber did and just laughed, this guy is the best. He came to unblock our pipes and I have used him ever since, he changed our water tank and my landlord uses him for everything now. If you want the best at a very reasonable rate, most importantly, HONEST. Bob is your guy.
