I purchased my 2006 Saturn Vue in Dec. 2007 at Bob Baker. When I went in to close the deal, I was told the price on the windshield was the sale price and the sale was over, even though it was still painted on the car. Then I was told I needed a different car alarm (over $700) in order to get financing and they raised the interest rate. The salesman was a nice guy, but the dealership was all about rape and pillage. The car's been a good ca, but I would never ever go to a Bob Baker dealership. I'm selling my Saturn now in order to buy my 1st new car. And, once again, I'm feeling the pain of Bob Baker as I see how upside down I am on this car.

So unless you want to learn a lesson on how not to buy, NEVER BUY A CAR FROM BOB BAKER AUTO GROUP. If you have any question feel free to email me at sandiegobd@aol.com and I'd even be happy to show you the contract.

When I went to this lot they sold me a car after about 5 hours. They swore up and down that the apr would not change, unless it went down. They called me back in and forced me to sign a new contract with a much higher apr. When i asked them why it went up they said oh sometimes that happens. Also they had changed the price of the vehicle, and taken my warranty off of the contract. They then called me back in to sign another new contract!! The service was horrible. And it was women!! The only man that helped me told me that they would never have changed the price of a car because "That is against the law"...I have now found out that they are going out of business!! I wonder why! I wouldn't recommend this lot or any Bob Baker lot to my worst enemy!!

Well... on 8/31/08 I wrote how great Bob Baker's Betterway Automotive was. Well, I now do not stand by the statement, other than I had a great salesman. They sold me a LEMON! I have been trying to get a car with a very obvious front end problem fixed for the last two months. To date, my car still is not repaired. Even Drew Hyundai serviced it three times for the same problem and they couldn't get it repaired. I was deceived and sold a rental car and they told me it was a lease return. In dealing with their sales manger Liz, I got nothing but lip service and a flippant attitude. I stopped dealing with them because of her unprofessionalism, shawdy repairs, and a lack of customer service. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!! You will get taken.

Bob Baker Ford is a good dealership with some good deals. If you're looking for a truck, I'd say go Ford. The new Ford trucks are among the best and most truck guys agree. Also, if you're looking for a hybrid or fuel efficient car, Ford does have some good choices. Check them out and see what you like.
