Spent a very long time this afternoon looking for them, only to discover upon getting home that the address has changed as of early this year. It's now: Blue Meannie Records 916 Broadway El Cajon, CA 92021 619-442-5034 I'll try to edit it in. EDIT: Nevermind, they appear to have closed down. The above address now holds a bread shop. Blegh.‎

Blue Meanie has been a part of San Diego countys scene for many decades now and it would be missed if it was to close. WIDE selection of all kinds of music. Great place to get stickers, buttons, books, dvd's, t-shirts and other music related goodies. A haven for Death Metal boys and girls. I have been going there since I was a little girl and they always have something that you will not find anywhere else. And if you are looking for something that no one else has and Blue Meanie does not have it, just ask Norman the owner and he will special order it for you. There is also a great collection of music releated items, kind of like a little museum! Blue Meanie is a fun shopping experience!

PROS: Best selection in San Diego
CONS: Kinda pricey on most items
