interiors never bothered me too much because they all have faults, but this place was thrown together. single coat chalkie paint with most offensive so-called-artwork on walls. there was terrible lighting, low quality materials, and poor craftsmanship as our table wasn't leveled and had paint splatters on it. an unimpressive night started with badly made green tea which tasted like it came out of a lipton tea bag and was seeped minutes short of desired. sushi selection had maybe 25% of raw fish, yeah, really. everything else was cooked one was or another. this would be a great menu to introduce children to sushi, but boring for anyone else. waitress didn't assist much with incorrect naming on their menu and she failed to refill my tea until i waived her down in the midst of a busy four patron wednesday night. rice was good and sushi wasn't bad, but just okay for this city, which isn't saying much considering chicago's below average sushi. we ate and left quickly. ...
