LAUREN IS A BLONDE WIZARD!
After years of disappointing colorists who were unable to match a shade of blonde to my olive skin and stylists who cut a half a foot of chunky layers off my hair farm, i was finally referred to Lauren by a friend. She is a BLONDE WIZARD! And, she gives me a fantastic cut every time as well. Not an over the top glamorous one (because that's just not me), but naturally beautiful because she knows i can't be hassled with product and blow-drying. Last time i went in, she said she was moving to a salon called Head and Soul. I will follow her wherever her career takes her. Thanks Lauren! You're my saving grace!

my hair belongs to AMBER!
Ever since my aunt decided to pop out babies and stop doing hair I've been on a never-ending search for the right hair stylist. It's been about 4 years and I have been to a different stylist every time. They've ranged from horrible to mediocre with hairstyles ranging from bowl cut to dog show hair. The last, last lady I went to gave me the ugliest, unflattering, and BLUNT layers I have ever seen. I was scared that my hair was beyond repair, (I wanted to fix it, but somehow keep the length) but heard many good things about Amber at Bladerunners, soo I decided to schedule an appointment. I don't know how she did it, but not only did she fix my hair, I actually ended up loving the cut! I don't even remember the last time I loved my hair after an appointment. I live in Los Angeles now, but I will forever be faithful to Amber until she decides to start popping out babies.

BEST SHAMPOO EVER! GREAT HAIR CUT TOO!
After ten years or not having a hair cut, my best friend finally talked me into going ot her stylist Tony at Bladerunners. It took some convincing being as how they charge $70 for a haircut and I'd never paid more than $15. I've been going there for the past year ever since. Tony is fantastic, I absolutely love my hair cut, he's pleasant, and I'm always a very satisfied customer.
Most importantly though, and I was NOT expecting this when I first went, when Joseph aka Joe, shampoo'd my hair, he gave me the most amazing head massage ever. That alone made it worth the trip out to the city (I live on the peninsula) and worth the $70. Joe is amazing, he also styles and blowdries my hair out after every cut, or you can request him specifially just to blowdry your hair or do your color. Needless to say, he is my regular person now as he is great! He always takes his time and makes my hair look fabulous. I don't even have to specify what I want because I know that whatever he does I will love. If you're looking for a good hair cut, go see Tony, and if you just want a RED HOT style for a night on the town, along w/ the most awesome head massage EVER, see Joe. You WON'T be disappointed. Bladerunners Salon ROCKS!

Lauren is Rad
I get my hair done by Lauren and I totally trust her. For the first time in my life I can relax and not "back seat drive" my stylist the way usually have to. I am used to keeping a vigilant eye on the mirror while getting my hair cut (I have very wavy hair prone to getting HUGE if not cut right... it's dangerous) and now I just let her do her thing and I'm always happy with the result.

Amber butchered my hair.
I usually get my hair done by my personal hair stylist, but she moved to new york. I went to this salon dec of 2005 and will never go back. she recommended me to go to bladerunners and I saw all the reviews and even have a few girlfriends that said it was a good salon. Im not sure if it was just the stylist that was inexperienced.. I ran into a friend the other day that also had a bad experience with this hair salon and this is my reason for posting this review!! i think people should do research before trusting your hair with just anyone. when i went, i left the salon MAD as can be. I wanted to kick the little girl that did my hair. I was literally left butchered as if i got my hair stuck in a lawn mower. Be sure you know who your going to see before you go get your cut done. Aside from my horrible haircut, the hair stylist swore she knew exactly what she was doing-- only because she knew my hair was horrid-- so she kept trying her best to style my ragged hair.. Dont go to amber.
