great fried crab and bread.....poor service and Entrees'
We went to this restaurant with great expectations after hearing all of the good things about the food. I ordered the chicken alfredo after being told that it is so wonderful, its the best chicken alfredo that our friend of the family has ever had. It took awhile for our waitress to even come over to us. We got the fried crab, they were so delicious. We got a complimentary glass of wine, which we really enjoyed. He wanted to order a steak, but our waitress told us that it would be about an hour because of the big party next to us (she got down on our level and told us) and I said (to my man) we can wait order it if you want too. So, he asked about some other dishes (just being curious), and the waitress told us she'd be right back, and then came back and took our order for the steak and the chicken alfredo. About 45 minutes later we get our food, and he was given a pork plate, and the waitress said "I am sorry, he just went ahead and made it for you since you were asking about it, and it wouldn't take as long." So he ate it anyway. It was dry, my pasta wasn't alfredo sauce. It was watered down. It tasted like pasta right out of the boling water. I could have made a better chicken alfredo. Our waitress didn't seem to care about us and she didn't seem to want to be there. Before our food was even delivered, I heard a guy say "We're almost out of alfredo sauce" humm so you are going to make mine watered down instead of coming to tell me to my face that you are running out? We were very disappointed and don't feel that we were treated fairly because of our age, just because you have a young couple doesn't mean you should ignore them. We know that the food is good, we have ate the restaurants catered food before, and the resturant was disappointing. I feel like our time and money was wasted. And they even knew we were coming, I had made reservations.
