Always a pleasure when I visit Black Mountain. I bought my bike here in 2005 and would definitely buy from them again. The last time I went in for a tune up this shop when above and beyond to get my bike back as fast as possible. Great local shop!‎

These guys are great! They know their product. I was able to go in and ask for a specific bike for my kid's first mountain bike and they took me to it. Sized the bike for him and only sold us equipment we asked for. They did not try to keep asking about add-ons or try to sell me extra warranties...a big plus. I hate being sold things I didn't go in to buy. Great job. Competitive pricing in line or cheaper than manufacturer's suggested retails. Also provided military discount on accessories! Way to go guys!‎

Bought my Specialized here. Great staff knowledgable. I live in Oceanside/Vista and there are many Bike Shops in bewteen, but there isn't the knowledge, nor the selection. The staff didn't prejudge me as a poor college student, and had me ride and reride several models....trained me on the personal fit of each one and ultimately settled on the stumpjumper in Red. Thanks again On a persoanl note the owner brian made it a point to thank you for the business....made me feel great.‎

Friendly, knowledgeable staff that are there to help you find what YOU are looking for, not what they need to sell. i am a former employee, and know in the in's and outs of the shop, and i mean it when i say they are there to help you. If they don't have something you want in stock, trust me when i say they will find it, and they will get it for you. they are there to answer all your questions. great shop if you are looking to get a bike to loose some extra pounds, or are a seasoned pro. if you are really nice and show respect to the guys working there, they will hook you up big time. they aren't big on "SLASHING PRICES" or anything of the sort because in all honesty they have their prices cut to their lowest profitable margin possible. Don't go anywhere else.‎

Im all for supporting my local bike shop however when the staff is a bunch of arrogant a**holes why should i shop there? If your a weekend warrior and want a salesman to rip u off this is a great place to go, but for me ill drive the extra miles to adams ave bikes to shop cause those guys are real no f-ing posers who don't really ride but just read up on whats hot/not.‎
