Robert and Steven are the most amazing people who make the most beautiful dresses a bride can ask for. They were accommodating to my budget and my specific requests, which a bride can't get enough of. They have a variety of designs, which can be also altered to the brides taste and wishes. Book an appointment to see them and you'll never regret it. You'll fall in love with the beautiful dresses and the designers!

After having spent an enormous amount of time in vain going through big bridal stores and designer boutiques in Manhattan, my search for a perfect wedding gown led me to the stylish attelier of Birnbaum & Bullock.

I was searching for an elegant, sophisticated yet simple gown that I would wear to our church wedding ceremony followed by a reception at a sleek, upscale Manhattan restaurant.

The process of working with Robert Bullock and Steven Birnbaum was like a collaboration with two close friends who were entrusted with something they are masterful at. Robert, one of the designers with whom I initially met only eight weeks before the wedding date, immediately understood what I needed and presented me with seven possible choices. Even though I was running out of time (several other stores would not work with me on such a tight schedule), Robert and Steven were patient, focused and gave honest feedback aiming solely at helping me select the dress in which I would look great, in which I would be comfortable and which I would wear effortlesly. They took care of every aspect of the gown with no worries. Each personalized appointment gave us plenty of time for tryouts. At my last appointment, my gown looked and felt amazing. I walked down the isle in a perfect wedding dress whose superb craftsmanship could not be but noticed by everyone present.

I went to A LOT of bridal dress shops (at least 6) and no experience came even close to my experience at Birnbaum & Bullock.

Firstly, they have gorgeous dresses that are timeless yet unique. The dresses are made from really beautiful fabrics (which was something I was picky about & really disappointed with at other shops). Also, they have a wide variety of dresses for every bride's unique style & shape. I'm short & curvy and found a few dresses there that made me feel like a movie star.

Secondly, you won't getter better customer service ANYWHERE (don't even get me started on the nightmare at Kleinfelds!). I had my appointments with Robert Bullock, one of the designers himself, and other than being really nice, he was very honest in choosing styles that looked good on me. Plus, he showed me dresses all that were in my budget and below. I was not pressured to by a dress at all and was treated like a fabulous bride. This is not the norm at other bridal dress shops in Manhattan.

Thirdly, for the budget conscious bride, their dresses range greatly in price so any bride could find something great there. I wasn't sure I would find something I loved in my budget (under 2K) and I was really pleasantly surprised with the quality for the prices and the variety.

I bought my dress from Birnbaum & Bullock and I absolutely love everything about it and can't wait to wear it on my big day. If you are wedding dress shopping, you MUST check out Birnbaum & Bullock!

I purchased two gowns from a sample sale at their showroom. They were very helpful, and the gowns were amazing. Beautiful craftmanship and attention to detail. They also cleaned my gowns prior to the wedding, and the service was impeccable. Highly recommend them to any bride.

Birnbaum and Bullock was a last minute addition to my wedding dress search. I had already visited about 8 other dress shops, ranging from small high end boutiques to big standards like Kleinfelds and Saks. None of the experiences compared to the personal attention I got at B&B. From the moment I stepped in the door, Robert (one of the 2 designers who not only design the dresses, but do the consultations) was welcoming to my friends and family. Although he brought in almost 10 dresses for me to try on, he grabbed 1 and said "I have a feeling this one will look great on you" -- and what do you know, he was right! It's a totally different experience having a consultation with a designer vs. a salesperson. Not only are their dresses stunning, there's a wide price range, they're warm, have incredibly fast follow up (emailed the very next day to confirm the 1st dress fitting appointment), and made my decision easy.
