We are staying at the Oakwood Apartments nearby and have been going to Carrows once a week for breakfast. Average food and very bad service a Carrows. We walked out before ordering once because the waitress was talking with some guy by the cash register and didn't have time for us. Service was bad every time at Carrows and that was the straw... Anyway I was curious about this strange looking place across the street called the Bill of Fare and so finally I took my kids to breakfast there this morning. My teenage son is a jaded gourmet and I think he wants to be a chef someday. He now says the BOF is his favorite breakfast place. I have to agree. We all ordered something different and shared a little with each other. Everything was delicious. The best part was the service. Coffee cup kept full, water glasses kept full. Waitress came early and often to see if we needed anything. Outside is ugly. Inside bright and airy inside and friendly. Who knew!!??

I think that this breakfast restaurant used to be an old Wienerschnitzel.

In any case, this is right next to a gas station, Taco Bell and McDonald's. They serve breakfast, and it is delicious, crowded and noisy. They have fresh-squeezed orange juice. I believe it's cash only.

Breakfast at a gas station? Don't let that fool you - the breakfasts at Bill of Fare are the best! Bill of Fare is busy most mornings but you almost always get seated quickly. The servers are friendly and efficient (coffee never gets cold) and the food arrives quickly. The french toast is the best!

Only open for breakfast and lunch, this place is small on size, but big on flavor. Very casual and unusually crowded, they usually seat and serve fairly quickly (unless it is very busy). Parking can be a hassle since space is very limited. Overall, for a good breakfast with large portions, try it out.

A-maz-ing!!! I love this place...I go there at least 3 times a week...early in the morning for coffee with the folks...The service is great...and the food is even better...If you're lucky you may even be able to get one of Jenny's home grown tomatos... :)
