Bikram yoga is a series of poses that you do for 90 minutes in a 105 degree room. The first half of the workout is done standing and the second half is on the ground. Your heart rate will go up so feel prepared for some funky body sensations (dizziness, etc). Make sure you drink a lot of water before and after yoga. The teachers at this studio have all been fantastic and helpful. There isn't music, there's no chanting, and every series of postures are the same in every class. There aren't levels to the class, so in each class there are beginners all the way up to people who have been doing this yoga for years. You will feel worked out inside and out and will want to come back. This is the only 90 minutes I am ever able to shut my brain off and just be.
