This place its expensive and it's true, the lady's at the checkout are rude. No wonder every time I go it's always empty I hardly see more than 3 people every time I go around 4 times a week.
Only one of the cashiers it's nice ( Susan ). I had been buying here for the last 18 months and not by choice. I work for someone who always wants me to get her meats and fish there.
The produce its always old. Hard to find what your looking for, not a lot of variety. Be careful when buying dairy its always expired or almost there.
And be aware that if you try to return something they treat you like you're stealing or something even with the receipt they'll say that there not sure you got it there, and they will inspect the item hoping to find who knows what. Ridiculous!!
The only thing there to buy it's at the meat department, good selections and nice people. The Deli/ Butcher has a different owner who I believe rent's the space from the store.
That explains how nice they are compared to the grocery store.
For the price and the service in the grocery store. I would suggest go to Whole foods,Jewel or Dominks. At least you will get what you're paying for and no problems with returns.

This is a neighborhood market that can suit the needs of anybody in the area. They may not have a big selection of brands, but they do carry at least one of everything. And if they don't have it they'll send you exactly where you need to go to get it. Of course, food items are a little pricier for this local market, but if you need a quick gallon of milk or fresh fruit, it's only a hop, skip, and a jump away. (beware of buying almost expired milk though... I wasn't paying attention one time and I purchased a gallon of milk that expired the next day)
