I go into Big Al's often, and other than that crazy old lady, Myrna I think her name is (stalks you like a lion on its prey), I found the service to be great. Everyone is friendly there and, well almost everyone, and they know how to run the business. I found that whenever I have needed a certain item ordered the warehouse manager has always made sure to get it for me, and just let me say he is quite the cutie. (I bet that's why all the ladies shop there) Although I know the owner Bill, wants to retire and is never there when I go in, I loved always having little chats with the guy! Sweet man. All in all, I recommend this store to all.

They have very good and helpful poeple at Big Al's, I love thier bunnies.I hope that I can work at Big Al's one day, cause they are just so great. The employees are very helpfull too.

The annoying lady is the reason I was avoiding Big Al's too! LOL.
I knew what I wanted and was looking for, but she kept asking me stupid questions and giving her opinion on irrelevant things. Kind of like an annoying fly that keeps buzzing around your head...

I don't know if she's still there cause I got tired of trying to avoid her when I did go there. The owner I believe is a really nice man, and I would love to give him the business, so I'll probably sneak in there again someday to see if the annoying lady is gone. If she IS there, then I'm outta there!

I thought that we had just found a new store close to home where we could buy our dog supplies. That was true until we were hounded by a woman who works there that wouldn't leave us alone. She followed us through the store making negative comments on everything we picked out, claiming that it wasn't good for dogs and that we needed to buy whatever other thing SHE picked out. She spoke as if she was the know all of dogs and if we really loved our dogs we would buy what she was tellling us to, otherwise we were bad pet owners. She kept asking us questions about our dogs that had nothing to do with our purchases. We love our dogs to death and we try our very hardest to do what's best for them. But just because you raise your dogs one way doesn't mean that if we raise them differently that we are wrong and bad pet owners. This woman tried to make me feel as if i was the worst pet parent ever....I will never shop here again!

Along with a great selection (they even have a list of items made and produced here in the USA) and knowledgeable folks, Big Al's is our new pet store.

We received excellent customer service and even had our pup's nails trimmed by June Mathers (known as Auntie June to locals) for free. She used to volunteer at another local pet store but has since moved to Big Al??????s. She so gentle and patient; the only one our kids let touch their paws :)

We love Big Al??????s!!!
