I was referred by my dentist to SmileCare in Elk Grove, CA, for a second opinion on tooth #14 that had been giving me problems, even though it had had a root canal done on it 8 years prior. The SmileCare dentist quoted me an $1800 price to re-treat the root canal that had "possible leakage and was compromised." Greatly distressed, I contacted Dr. Bianchi's office where the root canal was done originally. They got me in the next day, I waited only 5 minutes before they saw me, they were very friendly and professional and helpful, and I felt at ease and comfortable. Dr. Bianchi looked at my x-rays and declared there was nothing wrong with my root canal and I did not need to have it re-treated. Dr. Bianchi and his staff care more about the health of the tooth than making an easy buck and this is to be valued in this day and age. Thank you!‎
