When I moved here from NY 2 years ago, I threw my back out unpacking and knew only one medical professional and she recommended I call Dr. Shirin Asgarian (Ph.D,, R.N., etc.) of the Beverly Hills Acupuncture Center. She was kind enough to fit me in immediately as she could sense I was in severe pain and needed help. While my first introduction to Dr. Asgarian was an emergency, strangely, she treated me as if I had been a patient at her practice for years. Moreover, she treated me on a Friday and actually CALLED ME on the next day (a SATURDAY) to see how I was feeling - and she wasn't suggesting that I sign-up for some revenue-generating chiropractor-like 7-week treatment "program." She just cared. I was blown away by her genuine concern for my well-being and have seen her MANY times since and received the exact same personalized treatment.

I am by nature VERY skeptical of physicians (I actually wrote a funny book about it) and especially those that preach alternative methods but this acupuncture practice is a godsend in a town where, let's face it, nothing is what is seems and if you don't have a natural and finely tuned ?BS? barometer you are in big trouble. Well, this is what it seems - it is THAT good and THAT effective - and Dr. Asgarian is a very nice, genuine and caring woman. I could not recommend a service or a heath care provider more so that I can Dr. Asgarian and the Beverly Hills Acupuncture Center.
