I was a little shocked when I walked into the shop at Best Transmission. The outside of the building isn't really aesthetically pleasing, but when I walked into the waiting area I was blown away. Sure didn't feel like i was in a transmission shop. The counter was clean, the carpet was clean, and the chair were comfortable. I was greeted with a smile and a handshake. The sales person was friendly and asked me how I was doing and what I thought the problem was with my car. After taking my information they asked if I wanted to go with them on the test drive to see if we could replicate the problem. We went out, the salesperson said he could feel what I was talking about. We got back to the shop and they explained exactly what their diagnostic would cover and how much it would cost which was really cheap compared to other places. They even said if I had the work done there they would waive the diagnostic fee. They did the diagnostic and sadly the problem was inside my transmission. They took the time to explain everything to me, how much the tear down would cost and the probability that I might have to replace parts inside my transmission. I had them do the work and after all that my transmission only needed a few little parts that were relatively inexpensive. I got my car back the next day when they closed. Got a great warranty and only paid $1200.00. Man I was I happy, a few other "big shops" in town quoted me $1900 and $2400 to rebuild my transmission, even AAMCO wanted $2100. Best Transmission did quality work and I haven't had a problem since. I would definitely go back. Oh and they even told me to come back and get a free transmission service. I'm spreading the word, Best Transmission is amazing. If they keep up the good work, they're going to put the other guys in town out of business.

These guys are the best! I broke down in the middle of the night driving from Oregon to Camp Pendleton. Best Transmission went to work on my truck first thing in the morning and if it wasn't for the part that had to be ordered from somewhere else, they would have had me back on the road that same day. As promised the truck was ready to go the next day, which i couldn't have been more happy with! Their customer service is THE BEST! By far this was the greatest experience I have ever had when dealing with an auto repair shop. Quality of work is top notch and the prices are very competitive. I would recommend Best Transmissions in a heart beat!
