This "the" hotel of downtown LA. Same goes for their Hollywood location too. Ultra modern, swanky, stylish and uber cool. Fantastic service, cool rooms and a bar that is frequented by the rich and famous, the cool and those wanting to be cool. It can be very hard to get into the bar if you are not a guest. The view from the rooftop is amazing.

I love this hotel although I've never actually stayed here since I live in LA but I can say that it is a very hip meeting spot and a nice place for a drink with friends or even a date.

The ambiance is very mellow, modern, zen, clean, hip, you really need to see it. Service is great.

I've only ever had cocktails there but they have always been excellent.

If you're looking for a place to rendez-vous with someone and you don't know where to go, this is a great suggestion. It will make you seem like you know the hot spots in LA. Plus, if your friend is a smoker, just get a table outside on the terrace and everyone is happy!

Fun fact: they filmed an episode of Sex and the City and Ally Mc Beal there :-)

This place is very hip, you feel like a super-hero standing on top of the building...

This is one of the most overpriced dumps in all of L.A., if not the worst. It's overpriced and ugly as sin. I mean, who on earth decorated this place? How do they sleep at night?

Just horrible. Absolutely horrible. Someone should put a lid on this sh!thole and be done with it.

I have been here a few times and had a great time. But I do not intend to bring any guests here again. It was embarrassing how curt and surly the door staff were. As if we are doing them a favor to spend our money here. And believe me, guys, this is not just leveled at you. The attractive women are getting the same attitude. That is why there is a line of guys waiting to get in and no women are around. The staff have to learn to treat people with a little class. No way will I be coming back.
