Mark Berry was hired initially to remove the acoustic ceiling from a family owned condo. After having many bids given, he seemed to be very knowledgeable about this line of work. It was very clear to see he was hurtng for business. He would call back several times within the week to see if I wanted to go ahead with him. The condo was new, and he could tell I wanted several things done with it. He started to promise that he could install new in-wall heaters, paint the interior, and install new lamenet flooring. It was obvious that he was starving for business. He promised us a fair deal and that he would do this work as if it were his own home....<br />

Bottom line, what was written in the contract and what was actually done were two completely different things. Paint job was horrible- obvious spots void of paint "after 3 coats". Semi-gloss touched up with flat paint. Paint left all over mirrors, light bulbs, appliances, floors, ect. Denied cracking granite floors previously there. Didn't follow contract of reinstalling closet doors. Had a plumber come WITHOUT my concent, and handed me a $650 bill which was not even discussed. Left unpatched holes in the walls.... and too much more to even list at this time. I could go on for days...<br />

And to top it all off, he talks down to you. Swears at you, and thinks that you have no say in what is going on in YOUR house with YOUR money. <br />

Oh, and beyond that- belief that he "broke in" by leaving a window open (when I was not there) and took some of the remaining baseboard material and lameniet flooring. Fourteen packages one day, 9 the next (when the job has already been completed.... hmmmm...
