I used to love this place, then I got food poisoning. I'm pretty sure it was from Benihana's because two other friends that ate dinner there with me and got the lobster also got sick. It was so baaaad. So I can't eat there anymore.

I was not that impressed by Benihana's food or service. Nothing was horrible but I don't think I would return since nothing was spectacular.

Benihana’s is my favorite splurge Japanese place! And it’s not even for the sushi! It’s all about the experience with the show and cooking in front of you on the huge flat hot plate.

I love all the nifty tricks and cooking techniques the cooks perform. ON top of a good show, the food is really high quality. The meat and chicken are cooked right in front of you so you know exactly what you’re getting, plus yummy fried rice! The portions are filling and I love eating my left over’s. Pricey, but worth it for the show and food. I think Benihana’s is better than Shogun or other types of Japanese places where they cook in front of you.
