I went to a special event hosted here so my review reflects that and not the typical dining experience. It's located in the Carlsbad Outlet Mall area and has plenty of parking and though it's fancier, I suppose they wouldn't require a dress code since you could drop in during an afternoon of shopping?<br />

When I went, they were hosting a buffet-style feast, so I had a chance to taste many different 'entrees' and the food was delicious. From Italian to Mexican to American cuisine, it was all very tasty! They are a fancier restaurant, serving up 'gourmet' mac n' cheese and their bruschetta was notably delicious.<br />

The venue is huge, a private winery area is perfect for large private gatherings. The main dining room easily holds 150 people and there is also a large bar area that had a casual inviting feel. There is also a patio area that was covered as well.

What a great place to stop by when shopping at the outlets... however, sometimes you feel that the clientele is a bit on the upscale side, I don't mind walking into it with shorts, sandals and a t-shirt.

The first time I came here, I had the Crispy Salmon Strips... which were delicious. The chutney had a good taste combined with the salmon strips. The staff was nice, especially since it was my birthday... Not only made my martini strong but brought me dessert! How nice...

I returned again to try out their Sunday brunch... wow what a variety of food! I mean, there are LOTS to choose from. I loved their lamb. It was moist and cooked well. Bottomless mimosas are always great. My only dislikes were that the shrimp wasn't already shucked for you and the desserts... well, needed a lot of improvement! I did like their chocolate mousse though!

Anyways, I'm not a baller like that where I can always afford 23 dollar meals so this is a once in awhile thing. I would recommend it to anyone!

Enjoy their wine and dinner selection

My friends and I have been enjoying this place for years, especially on a Friday afternoon or evening when they show us the true meaning of the Happy Hour! Special pizzas, and half price appetizers - we have tried them all and been delighted. If you like lamb chops, my carnivorous companions were impressed with them.
Be aware that they won't allow you to take any leftovers home, so don't order more than you can eat at your sitting.
We sit outside by the fire and watch the people in the Carlsbad Company Stores wander by. Very entertaining!
I've only had a sit-down dinner there once or twice; also an excellent experience.

One of the better looking restaurants on Carlsbad, great for intimate dates.
