Tasty and inexpensive
I tried this place for the first time Friday night. I didn't expect much from it upon entry, but was pleasantly surprised at the meal. I ordered shrimp/clams in a garlic sauce which was very tasty. The soup of the day was somewhat bland. However, the main course, rotolo, was delicious. The pasta was covered in a creamy tomato sauce, and filled with spinach and ricotta.

The service was average and the food took a little longer than I had expected. But it wasn't bad. Also, for a Friday, the place was very empty. But as I said, the food was good. A very filling and satisfying, simply Italian meal for a decent price.

Stay away from here!!!
awful restaurant! It took them a half hour to bring out bread- they forgot to bring out olive oil, the food was mediocre, and they sent me home with someone else's food! Talk about a restaurant that can't do anything right- pick a different restaurant!

stay away!!!
My husband and I decided to visit this place last (Saturday) night. Though it was completely dead with only 1 other older couple, we had to wait LOOONG for the waitstaff to come around. They were more interested in swapping their weekend drinking stories than in serving customers. In retrospect, that should have been our fist clue of things to come.
Our waitress was in her mid 40s, very rude and had a poor attitude from the get go. I ordered the rosemary chicken which comes with mushrooms and spinach. After 15 minutes the unfriendly waitress informed me that it could only be served boneless. When it came, the chicken was cold and there were no mushrooms or spinach!!! The waitress never bothered to come around to find out how our food was. When she finally did, I pointed out that my dish did not have spinach or mushrooms. At first she argued that it did not come with either!! After what seemed like much persuasion she dragged her feet to ask the chef and matter-of-factly informed me that they were out of both. Conspicuously lacking was her apology. With dessert, I ordered a cappucino but was informed that the machine was broken.
So in a nutshell, I give the waitress an A for her argumentative skills, C for looks and an F for waitressing skills. She is a disgrace to any establshment that employs her. In parting all I wanted to say to her is "You're Fired"! So I will be staying away from this place and so should you.

I was so disappointed
This place is so cute from the outside, and equally adorable inside, but the food is just average. I was so bummed. I've only been once so I suppose I could give it another chance, but I don't really want to. It was way overpriced for what it was. The calamari was SO chewy I couldn't even cut it. The pasta sauce was average. Tasted like it was out of a can. Just overall, I didn't like it.
