I agree with most everyone else that Dr. Behrend is definitely professional. He knows his stuff, gets right to the point, explains things in detail, and makes decisions that are hard to not agree with. I chose him because he is in-network plus because of the reviews and I say go ahead and try him if you're in the same boat I was.‎

I was in excruciating pain with a tooth needing root canal. My referral to Dr. Behrend had been delayed, due to the refusal of my general dentist's office staff to make a short appointment for me on their half day. ...

As the only endodontist in my dental network, I checked out Dr. Behrend's web site and was impressed as my dentist also has very up to date equipment. The office personnel were very friendly and I got an appointment for evaluation very soon. Dr Behrend thoroughly explained my situation and his plan and made an appointment for the procedure within a week. I was able to get in next day on a cancellation. The procedure was done totally painless and very efficient. He working relationship with his assistant was impressive. Best of all, my total payment with my network plan was very very reasonable. Of 6 root canals I have had, this was by far the easiest. I would recommend Dr Behrend to anyone needing root canal work.‎

Weirdest experience I've ever had with an office of any kind. I was referred to him by my insurance- the only endodontist in my network apparently. I am about to quit my job and lose my insurance, and needed a root canal redone. I called about 6 times during regular office hours and left 3 messages describing my situation and basically begging someone to call me back so I could make an appointment. Zero response, zip, nada. I can't imagine what in the world is going on in that office, but I would be pretty leery of the people who work in it.‎

With Dr. Behrend, my root canal was no problem. Did not hurt at all. I have had other root canals, they were not fun. Here, everything went smoothly. If I had to have a root canal again, I would absolutely go Dr. Behrend.
