The caliber of the store did not fit the customer service. We stood around for five minutes, without being helped. When a sales associate finally came over to help, she decided to take a call while I was describing the type of setting that I was looking for, and she rudely reply that they do not have anything like that in the store. I assume the store must be doing very well, because it was apparent that she was not interested in making a sale even thought there was not a single soul in the store. I can see from the other reviews that Im not the only one that has encountered that problem. MARIA was the sale associate who was rude and not helpful at all. An experience that it was suppose to be a very special for us as couple turned into a complete disappointment

Poor customer service !!! Unhelpful !! I was needed advise on whether their diamonds are enhanced in anyway. Response, was, " we endeavour to filtered the enhanced diamonds" Very vague response!!
Selective with answers to my queries. Have not answered most of my queries.

Top Notch!!! Long review...but please read!!!
I drive past this place almost every day...it's on 183 between Industrial and Westpark Way. I decided to go there when I wanted to sell my gold. I got a great deal on the gold they bought from me, and they fixed some things for me during the transaction and I also bought some batteries from them that they put in my watches. I was very impressed at the customer service....they are very genuine, and it is very obvious that EVERY customer receives great treatment, not just the high rollers. About a year later I decided to put my Mom's diamond from her wedding ring (parents divorce) into a wedding band for me. I wanted a special tension setting, which I guess is not very popular here in Texas. Richard (the owner...or one of the owners, I'm not sure...) took a lot of time with me to get to where he knew what I wanted, quoted me a price, and I left. Later, a friend of mine told me to check out another jewelry store in the mid cities area just to see how the price differed. Well, I'm sure glad I did that. First of all, the other store (It was also an independent jeweler, not a chain) was not very busy (not a good sign...) and when I explained what I wanted they basically said they don't do that kind of setting and tried to get me to pick something out of a book. I left after the lady I was working with told me I should go home and look on the internet to see if I could find a picture to bring her. Needless to say, I went back to Bedford Gold and Silver and dropped off my diamond to have the ring made. I picked up my ring today. Not only did I get a very fair price on the band, it is so beautiful I cried right there in the store. Probably the most important part of this review is the band I bought was white gold, and cost less than $1000. Their customer service is so sincere and genuine, you would have thought I just spent a million dollars there! I will recommend them to every one I know and will always be a faithful customer.

Ideal experience!
I have been searching for a wedding band for my fiance. I tried several retailers that offer the brand and style I was looking for that also bought scrap gold. After attempting to get the best deal possible during the same day, Beford Gold and Silver exchange topped them all on overall sell price of the ring I wanted. So the only other consideration was, were they going to give me top dollar on buying my scrap gold. I dealt with a woman named Donna from this location and she was quick to respond to my calls and inquiries. Once I arrived (unannounced from our earlier calls) she greeted me and worked out the deal. No doubt about it, I got the best price for my gold and saved a great amount of money on the ring she had quoted me. She was completely professional and personable. I had checked the BBB for reviews before I went there and since they have such a great history thus far, I made the trip. I walked out of that store and for the first time in a great while ... excited about a purchase and felt I got a great deal! Thanks to you at Bedford Gold and Silver! I never write reviews, but felt you deserved it! Good job guys!
