Paid for a full set, left with a half set..
Well I hate to be a dissenter, after all the good reviews, but these were absolutely the worst eyelash extensions I have ever had! First of all, the lady who did my extensions was not very nice. I wear glasses and they fell on the floor right at the start. The beautician never offered to pick them up for me and I was worried about my $600 glasses being broken or stepped on the entire time. When I asked if I could use the toilet in the middle of the session, she nearly snapped at me and told me that no, I could not. The room was tiny, and not ventilated so the glue fumes made me feel funny, but she kept the bottle of glue right next to my cheek when I mentioned the fumes being a tad strong. From the beginning, I told her that I like a lot of eyelashes on the outside corners of my eyes, but when I looked in the mirror when she finished, she had only put eyelashes on the middle of my eyes. When I commented on that, she said she could not put them on the outside edges because they would fall out. She very quickly ran off to help another client, so I did not get to explain that no matter if they fall out, I wanted to walk out the door feeling good about what I was paying for. She literally left the inside and outside quarter of an inch of my eyelashes bare. It made my eyes look smaller and the extensions really stood out as being fake. When I got home and showed my husband, before I said a word, he said, " that looks weird, why aren't there any eyelashes added on the edges?" So, basically, I walked out with a half set of lashes when I paid for a full set. I thought about going to another salon to get the rest filled in, but was running short on time since I was leaving the next day to go on vacation. It didn't really matter in the end because 90% of the eyelashes fell out the first week and they were all completely gone in two weeks even though I took exceptionally good care of them. I called the salon to complain, but they did not want to help me out. I will certainly not be back and I hope this review helps others to make up their minds before throwing away their money.
One more thing, when I called to make the appointment, I asked if I could get a spray-on tan with the eyelash extensions, and the girl on the phone said, oh sure, we do it all the time. Later, during my appointment, the beautician told me that no, I could not or the lashes would fall out. Since I was leaving the next day for vacation, I had to go without a tan. I guess the girl on the phone was just trying to give me a sales pitch. What a shame that people working there are not better informed.
