I've been getting my hair done by Fannie for several years now. I have super long, super curly hair that's proved difficult to manage for many stylists, but Fannie seems to work through my curls without a problem. I've dropped hundreds of dollars at really fancy salons throughout NYC, and Fannie's work (including color!) is just as good, if not better, than all the rest - and at a very reasonable price! Her blowouts are excellent, too.
I've seen her do all kinds of cuts and work on all kinds of hair; she's really a pro.
The salon is all the way in the back of a beauty supply store, but don't be unnerved by that. The salon itself is clean, spacious, and friendly. They also sell all different types of salon styling and beauty products at really discounted prices. I always come out of their with great products.
