We had an emergency with our dog when in town recently and chose to rely on the advice of this website and the recommendations in it. After calling for an appointment, Dr. Nelson saw our pet almost immediately. He was compassionate and knowlegable, an obvious lover of animals first and foremost. The office was very clean and the staff very pleasant and cordial. Other owners we spoke to in the waiting room only had the greatest things to say about both doctors and staff. Our dog got better, and we cannot say more than "The Absolute Best" when rating Bayview Animal Clinic. Thanks to Dr. Nelson and everyone there!

Dr. Nelson is St. Francis, the saint of all animals. Not only is he amazing with animals, he is also amazing with people. There is nobody else in the world that cares for animals like Dr. Nelson. He treats animals as if they were his own animals or his own children. It's hard to find any doctor for animals or for people that will go beyond the call of duty. He is there for you 24/7. But please don't call him 24/7...he already doesn't get enough sleep :-)

I have used Bayview for over twenty years. Dr. Brunz and Dr. Nelson are the best, most proffesional, yet caring vets I have ever used. They have cared for my dogs from pups to elderly in the kindest way possible. I have recommended them without question to many people, and they have all been grateful.
I have had a Great Dane, Standard Poodle, Corgi and now two dogs with pups and I feel very confident that
all of them have had the very best of care at all times. The staff is caring and helpful as well.
Their fees are very reasonable.
