Dr. Hollander is a great veterinarian...‎
r. Hollander is a great veterinarian. We've been taking our pets to The Bay Ridge Animal Hospital since 1990 and have experienced the kindest, most thoughtful and medically excellent care. His staff is amazing and treat your pets as if they were their own.

The facility is state-of-the-art and immaculate... even nicer than any human hospital we've ever been to!

We highly recommend The Bay Ridge Animal Hospital and won't take our pets anywhere else!

For years
I have been using this hospital for years... my grandmother took her poodle here! There was no other option when I become a pet owner as to where to bring my cats. I remember the hospital before they redid it a few years ago, and since the place looks amazing. The staff there was professional, but comfortable at the desk, the nurses I have been with in the rooms, and have asked questions to are always very informed and happy to help me, and any of my boys (all my cats are handsome boys) feel important and welled cared for. I had to hospitalize one of them for a problem he had with urinating, he had to stay there for a few days with a catheter... I won't tell you where he had it!! but I heard from the Dr throughout the day, and I was able to visit with him, not only does that place not hide anything, or smokescreen you, they welcome you inside every aspect of where and how they are treating their patients. I challenge you to find that elsewhere. I wish they could be my drs... i get appts for anything whenever i call, and results a lot faster for my cats!

COLD VET, HIGH PRICES!
Good: Marilyn the Receptionist. Bad: Dr. Nunemacher is rude, cold, money hungry (just because you have to pay off your student loans DOES NOT mean you take advantage of animal owners love for their babies!) and condesending! All of which I've found VERY insulting!. Improvements: How about some compassion? People skills... Other: I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS VET HOSPITAL! ZERO star rating!

The Best Animal Hospital in Brooklyn
The Best Care for your fur babies

Bay Ridge Animal Hospital is the best animal hospital.

Dr Hollander saved my Cat?s life when he became sick from eating the recalled pet food.

Dr Hollander call me when I first brought my cat back home after being in the hospital for 5 days, Dr Hollander takes time out of his busy day to talk with all of his clients.

All of his staff is very helpful!!!!!!!!

I would not bring my fur babies to any other Vet and I have 14cats!

Thanks

Toniann

Never answers your questions.
I had used them before, they are gruff and always seem annoyed, but they were close by. My cat was looking sullen (normally very outgoing) and I asked for a some tests to be done (a whopping price of $350.00). The doctor told me everything was fine. I took my cat back a month later in worst condition, again he is fine. Not happy with the response, I took my cat to The Animal Clinic at 1915 Bath Avenue, Bklyn where I was given the bad news - he had cancer. The doc there was very understanding, told me I should put him down (I wasn't ready for that), so he gave me pain pills and I had my baby for another 2 weeks.
I did go back to Bay Ridge and complained, the doc so rudely stated "he was dying, what did you want me to say?" and then his staff escorted me out.
