Don't WASTE your time with these RUDE family run guys
From the time I entered the small, cramped, junkie store, with my walker, it was difficult to get help. There was a sales person just finishing with a customer and two women in a side area working on phone calls. The employee who was working the counter with the customer just finishing up, turned around and walked away, while I was standing at the edge of the counter. He looked at me, DID not say anything to me, and walked away. I looked around to find someone to help me, after a few minutes a different man came out to the counter and asked if I was being helped. I said no, and he asked what I was looking for.
I told him I was interested in an electric - powered wheelchair and a bed side commode. He then called to the other employee who had just walked away, and told him I was interested in a wheelchair.
When the short, RUDE, man with a New Jersey "shores" attitude, came out, the first thing he asked me was HOW I WAS GOING TO PAY FOR IT!!!
When I said that I had Medicare, he told me in a very condescending manner that THEY DO NOT accept Medicare. Very arrogant delivery of their "policy".
They are located just about across the street from St. John's Hospital. I am 55 years old, and disabled. I was dressed nicely, and used to be a military pilot, so I do not understand why I was treated like "scum" off the street. The NJ "shores" guy was the only one I saw that even looked "scummy".
I QUICKLY left and went across the street to Horton Converse. WHAT a DIFFERENCE. Horton employees were very polite, considerate and HELPFUL!!!
Don't WASTE you time on the "Wishing Well" JUNK store. Things are just piled on top of other things. It may be decent equipment, but it is stacked like junk. With the LACK of service, and the ROTTEN, ARROGANT, ATTITUDE of the short Italian looking (I am half Italian), Jersey Shore guy, it is no doubt why their store looks like it does and is so cramped.
They apparently don't get it, even with competition across the street in a nice, CLEAN, store, CUSTOMERS will GO ELSEWHERE like I did.
