Was a real pleasure
My first experience with your compnay, and it was a pleasure. I have had a couple of bad moves in the recent years and heard abot Bay Area Movers through a co worker. Your company was just wonderful. The guys were great, very respectful and polite. Everything was moved with great care and very fast I might add. I will definitely be recommending you to all my friends and family. Thank you for a great moving experience. George

Bad move -- bad experience -- No resolution even attempted
I thought I had the right movers for me when I spoke with the person came out and handled the bid and setting up of the appointment. I had several concerns and I was assured that they would all be met.
I explained I didn't want my destination address voiced, on paperwork at all. The crew verbally said the address out in the parking lot. They left paperwork laying out at the destination not only with the address but with my credit card information on it.
The day of the move, I was told there would be two crews staged and there would be large trucks at my move. I had much of the equipment I had to move on pallets, all they had to do was clear out a bottleneck of stuff and pull the pallets on the first day.
There was only one crew in a small truck. None of the crew knew how to drive a forklift and drove the forklift off the trailer damaging the forklift.
They packed the stuff on the pallets like a person would throw things into a toy box. Without wrap, without care and mostly empty. They placed oil on top of my cloths.
They left the location not a full load. The load shifted and we had to stop.
I was told someone would be left behind to pack and this didn't occur.
So essentially, $4K later I still had another $2K they said to pay to finish the move. The move was estimated at $3K.
I spoke with the crew they told me they were never told not to state the address to anyone. They told me they had not packed small businesses before. They told me they didn't know how to do this move.
I addressed this with management and was assured if I went a second day that the move would be handled as described the first day.
The second day did go smoother. They had a bigger truck and a person who knew how to use the forklift.
However, they didn't pack correctly again, packing empty boxes in empty boxes, labeling was non-existent or just labled one word. Again, I was told the packers were not the ones to label the boxes, I was responsible for that... I was told they didn't know how to pack what I had to pack... tools.
The result at the unload was that there were 8 people there, and only 3 people working at once. The reason was because they left a pallet jack at the origin.
They also piled stuff on top of other stuff so that it is falling over and creating a hazard to unpack.
I have a horrible time with these movers and would not recommend them.
When I discussed this with management, I was given every reason as to why these issues were not their cause but mine. The result has been I was left in the middle of the move over limit and no one in the business willing to work with me to get the move completed. I had to hurry and hire another crew to finish the job because my time limit at my origin was up or the cost was going to by high.
