Try bringing fresh Ham & Eggs to your favorite Dine-in restaurant and ask them to prepare breakfast for you and see you get... NADA!
Professional Automotive shops provide service AND warranty on products they provide.
They were doing you a favor when you asked them to installing your Ham & Eggs .
Bill Pearse BMW would not have entertained the request of installing YOUR Ham & Eggs... Let alone PAINT the Calipers.
Asking for discount on top of that is/was simply rude, no matter what the $ amount was.
Gary, the owner IS a Race Performance enthusiast... I have personally put my touch on some of their Suspension Performance upgrades. They provide AND perform Professional Service.

Unprofessional! by Rob V. at InsiderPages
They're nice over the phone but when you meet them they roll your eyes at you. Had a car there for service and for performance upgrades (over $3k worth) and they offered no break on price on a big job.

I asked them to install specific aftermarket compenents (I brought) to my suspension/drivetrain (they're supposedly a race shop as well) and they don't want to do it (i.e. - paint the calipers, etc.). The most basic things, like replacing fluids and lube jambs, they'll charge you an exhorbitant rate for. Jeff was their person I spoke with. In my opinion, he is not as sincere as their website would like you to believe.

As alternatives I'd go to BMW dealership themself rather than these guys. I DO NOT reccomend. Go to the Bay Area if you need serious performance work done to your car.

Check www.bimmerforums.com to find better shop in the area.
