HORRIBLE

I used Jay Baum for my divorce, $50,000. Later ( I DID NOT MAKE THAT MUCH AT THE TIME IN A YEAR) was horrible, studdered in court, was the laughing stock of the court officers and judge, made terrible mistakes more than just money. STAY AWAY IF YOU VALUE YOUR CHILDREN, AND ASSESTS.

Not so great

My brother was going through a divorce and he asked me to come with him to see the attorney for moral support. He really didn't like this law office and I didn't either. The staff was not very friendly, and neither was the lawyer. We got the feeling that he didn't really know what he was doing, and his fees seemed really high. After the consultation, my brother decided to look around for another lawyer, and I think he made a good decision because I really didn't have a good feeling about this one.

Divorce Lawyer by Jill S. at InsiderPages

I was told he is a very smart guy but I haven't seen it. He will nicke and dime you to death. He even charges for retrieving his phone messages. He has double billed me on many occasions. He looks very dissheveled and unorganized. You cannot park in the parking lot so you have to find a spot on the street. If I were't so far along with this process I definitely would change lawyers.

I have been separated for 2 years and have used this lawyer. He puts on a timer when you go in there. I have paid him over $10,000 and he wants another $10000 retainer. He charges the going rate for divorce lawyers. He was recommended to me but he comes across in court as a bit scatterbrained and I only went to court once.
