I only wish all doctors were half as good as Dr. Taylor
Dr. Taylor is competent and keeps up to date with his practice, which is important. But what separates him from every other veterinarian I have encountered is his genuine concern of animals and their human friends. This isn't just a job for him, it is a vocation. He takes his time with the animal and the human, taking a thorough history. You have only to see him with the animals to recognize how thoroughly he enjoys his work. He calls after hours to check on pets with a serious health problem. He goes beyond what most would expect!

I cannot praise Dr. Taylor enough. He gave my sweet cat the best care, without pushing his agenda on me, but by giving me accurate information and allowing me to make the decision. With his gentle, knowledgeable care we were able to keep my cat with several serious health problems healthy and able to live a good life for several years.

I am grateful to have found Dr. Taylor to care for my cat.

One of the Family by D. M. at InsiderPages
'Dr. Jack' is a one-of-a-kind vet, who has a unique love of animals. I have been taking my pets to him for 10 years. When my Brittany, Randy, was sick with kidney disease, he was honest with me and stated that he was 'afraid that this is life-ending.' He did everything in his power to make Randy's last couple of months as comfortable as possible. When we had to put him down, Dr. Taylor and I were in the examining room, crying. It was quick and painless. A few days later, I received a hand-written letter of condolences from him.Over the years, he has worked less due to illness, but I still take my dogs to his practice. I have a female brittany/austrailian shepherd mix who has epilepsy, and they take great care of her. She is now sick, and I hope pulls through. His associate vet, Dr. Michelle Huey, called me at 8:00 pm, with lab results from my female. She wanted me to bring her in to stay over-night due to pancreatitis. She was STILL there with several of the staff, waiting for us. I was impressed that they were working so late, and knew without question, that she would be treated like one of the family.Hoping and praying for the best. Thanks Barnes Mills Animal Hospital staff!Sincerely,D. Martin

Dr. Jack is one in a million.
Dr. Taylor cares. My poodle is ancient, and he has cared for him as if he were his own. Hand feeding him at times, allowing me to sit with my baby even though the office was supposedly closed, making frequent phone calls to let me know how he was doing, even taking my baby home with him after a hip surgery. My baby is with him now, and although I have no clue how this will end, I know he has been in the best of hands, and that every thing that could possibly have been done has been done. God bless you Dr. Jack and thank you.

Very kind Dr. Taylor by Brenda K. at InsiderPages
Recently, I took my beloved dog to Dr. Taylor. I found him to be very, very kind and loving to him. He was extremely nice to me and answered all my questions fully. His staff is a little disorganized though and could stand to be a little more friendly. Overall, I found Dr. Taylor to be an excellent vet and I would use him again.

Best Vets in Town!!! by Shiloh N. at InsiderPages
I have taken many pets to Dr. Taylor over the years. They have always been treated as members of the family. Dr. Taylor also gives me a good deal when I bring in the feral cats and kittens that frequently show up in my area. I recently lost two of my cats (who had been in the family for 10 years) and Dr. Taylor took the time to handwrite me a beautiful letter of condolence. Dr. Huey, who is Dr. Taylor's associate, is also a wonderful person with a true love of animals!
