Bad experience, start to finish. Got the feeling that no one had any idea of what they were doing....putting deposits in the wrong accounts...nothing but resistance from upper management when I tried to resolve it.

My money would be safer buried in a jar in the back yard.

This bank has only 3 branches right now, but they have plans for more. I like the friendly, helpful small town atmosphere. The staff has always been knowledgeable and courteous with every transaction that they have helped us with whether it has been getting a checking account open, buying a certificate of deposit, or getting a safety deposit box. Their rates are comparable to others in the area. They have a main branch that is large and spacious. It is conveniently located in the heart of Oak Ridge with easy access to Highway 68 and Highway 150. I have gone in and asked and got to see the President of the Bank and got to meet with him. They do have two people on the Board of Directors that I do not approve of. They did not tell the truth and keep their word to our homeowners association.

There is even no minimum balance checking availble to those over 50. Several convenient locations make banking quick and easy. Honesty is also one of their hallmarks.
