lost check in atm‎
About a year ago, I put two endorsed checks, including our account number, in an envelope into the atm machine. The checks fell out of the envelope. They were then officially "lost", even though they were in the atm machine. B of A never found the checks, so I had to get two stock dividend checks re-issued. During the whole ordeal B of A employee actually lied to me once, telling me they found the checks, only to reverse that later. I was astonished at how the Bank of America refused to take responsibility for losing the checks, then had the audacity to put a block on my atm card without so much as a courtesy phone call to warn me. Just last weekend we had an inciden with their new atm machines "losing" the card it swallowed "for security purposes". Their explanation still makes no sense. Bottom line: any thing goes amiss at all, they will never acknolwledge their errors and leave you to suffer the consequences.‎
