Since when does a bank charge a fee to cash a check written there? I went to Bank of America to cash a Christmas check (since it was written on one of their accounts) and they were going to charge me a fee. So I said no way, give me my check back and I'll take it to my own bank. Then my bank couldn't do anything with it since it had been put thru the processor and the stupid teller hadn't voided it. So I take it back to Bank of America where they accused me of grabbing it from the teller before she had a chance to void it. For one thing, the counter is too wide to just grab something from the teller. The survaliance camer should prove the teller to be a liar! So not only was the teller a liar, their customer service STINKS! I will never do business with them again!
