This is by far the most AWFUL bank I have EVER banked with. They charge fee's for EVERYTHING. If you want your money to work for you and not against you, try a different bank!!!

I have been with Bank of America for four years now, three of those have been in Beaumont and I have had an online account. Their online/telephone customer service is the worst I have seen in the country. They are even worse than Sprint and Sprint is mighty bad. The local banks aren't any better. They are just as impersonal, just as big of snots as the telephone people. Most of the tellers and bank associates I have come across are just as unhelpful and sometimes outright hostile as their remote customer service. As for their online services, the only way you can be sure of exactly how much money you have at any given time you have to be watching your account 24/7 on the computer. The company trying to rip off the public due to their corporate greed through the bank bailouts just makes me want even more to tell Bank of America to p*** off. Company insiders try to sell the story that the company is just being patriotic to take the money. If you believe that and believe BOA CEO Ken Lewis then I have a nice lot to sell you on Bolivar Peninsula.

THIS BANK OF AMERICA: I am a new account holder..and I am very please with the customer service that I receive from "my"bank. My first encounter with this bank was when I came in to cash my very first pay check...Mrs.Pugh was very helpful...so helpful that I decided to open an account with them. The only thing was that unlike the other banks I did not receive a gift or anything for signing up but I do still have the priveledge to bank with BANK OF AMERICA!

Excellent - this is a 'real' bank: Had to drive from Nederland to Beaumont to find a branch of BofA that knows what they are doing. They were nice, and provided me with all the information and banking I needed - to bad they don't have something in Nederland.
