We visited San Francisco on our honeymoon and were dissapointed by so many things, but the Bamboo Hut was a highlight for my husband and I. The bartender was AWESOME, she deserves a raise!

Great place to hang out. Chill that that gets hopping without being pretentious. Love the Tiki stuff too, and the dj, I think his name was DJ Rise, was great!

i just moved to San Francisco (north beach), and with so many bars and clubs to entertain me, i'm glad to have the hut in my neighborhood...everyone there is so friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing. nick and lauren are very friendly, as are all the locals...it reminds me of a tiki bar that i love from back home- plus it's crawling distance from my place!

I love the atmosphere in this bar. It's been awhile since I have been back. But the decor still sticks in my head. Puffer fish lamps, scorpion drink platters great music on Thursday nights. When you head to the bar, ask for Lauren!

You are going to have a good time when you go there. Nick, the owner, knows how to take care of his customers. He also sets the atmosphere by having fun with his job.
The other main bartender is Lauren. She rocks. Without a doubt the hardest working, friendliest, bartender I have met. She is always smiling and having fun.
I've been to afew of the other bars local to broadway, and the hut just has the atmosphere where you want to stay for more than afew drinks.
Friday and saturday nights the dj gets going, and the hut gets jumping! I have a great time, everytime.
