Nice Place, But...
I downloaded a 2-week free pass for my time in between moving into a new apt. I liked the facility, but the staff was very pushy. I would've worked out there more if they didn't hassle me every time. I also got asked out by my trainer. Not cool

It's a little small, but it has a good mix of machines and
It's a little small, but it has a good mix of machines and workout equipment for its size. Every time I walk in there I know I'm in a gym, it smells like a place where people work out. This is by no means a luxury gym, it's just too small to have all the amenities some of them have. It doesn't bother me that the gym is small, I can still get a good workout. The staff is pretty helpful and overall it's a positive atmosphere.

Ok gym by Ninja G. at InsiderPages
As far as Bally's go, this one's ok. I expected a lot more since it's in Manhattan Beach but was disappointed. It's pretty simple inside & the lighting wasn't that great. But, equipment was clean & well taken care of & it wasn't too crowded. No problems with parking & conveniently located.

PROS: convenient location, plenty of parking, not too crowded

Get your butt in gear on the best state-of-the-art exercise equipment. Let a personal trainer get you into shape or bring a friend to spot. Located right next to a tanning salon, subway and a nutrition store!

PROS: Great location
CONS: working out is hard! No pool here either.

Newly remodeled
This Bally's location was recently remodeled, adding tile flooring and a Boxing Gym. Overall the gym is really clean, open late, has a variety of classes and a really friendly staff. Usually there is little or no waiting for machines, except on Saturday mornings and right after work, but that's to be expected!
